CLUB NEWS

Author Mark Twain famously called golf "a good walk spoiled." Anglebrook member Masashi Katayama would disagree heartily. Katayama walked and carried his clubs for 72 holes over a single day in June--breaking the previous club record of 54 holes in a day and becoming the charter member of the Anglebrook Solstice Club. Next year he wants company on the longest day of the year, and hopes other members will join him in a feat that took him over 14 hours, one step at a time. Read all about his trek in the attached Anglebrook newsletter--and a couple of heartwarming hole in one stories for those of us still waiting for our first.
